Claire Kellett is the KCRG-TV9 Weekend Evening News Anchor. In addition to her Saturday and Sunday evening responsibilities behind the anchor desk, Claire also delivers daily news reports in Eastern Iowa.

Claire joined the KCRG-TV9 News Team in June 2005. She comes to KCRG-TV9 from KOMU-TV8 in Columbia, Missouri where she was a general assignment reporter. She also served as a producer and a member of the station’s investigative unit.

Claire grew up in St. Louis and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri School of Journalism. She is very excited to be working in Eastern Iowa because she enjoys living in the Midwest. Interacting with people in the community is her favorite part of the job. Claire believes everyone has a story to tell, and she looks forward to talking with you someday.

When Claire is not bringing you the latest news, she enjoys spending time outdoors. Running, rollerblading, and hiking top her list of outdoor activities. When the weather isn’t cooperating, Claire loves to read, and she never misses a good movie.
