Reporter Dave Franzman began broadcasting at KCRG-TV9 in 1978.

Dave was born in Owensboro, Kentucky and grew up in Southern Indiana. He attended college at Indiana University.

He is married and has two adult children.

Dave enjoys hiking and biking as well as photography. He loves to travel and likes out-of-the way vacation spots.

Dave says his strangest adventure at KCRG-TV9 was doing some "wing-walking" at a Cedar Rapids air show.
