Join the Linn County Democrats and celebrate DemStock 2008 on Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The event is located on the Sally Williams farm, 5305 Walford RD, Fairfax. Admission is $20 adults, $15 13-18, and 12 and under admitted free. Pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, hot dogs, baked beans, coleslaw, and chips will be served with beer, soda and water for beverages.
Auctioneer Don Zeller will be auctioning off priceless democratic memorabilia. Patty Judge, Iowa Lt. Governor is the guest speaker. The event supports the Democratic Headquarters and campaign events. A portion of the proceeds will go to flood relief.
You can reach the Williams farm by taking Wright Brothers Blvd west off of I-380, past the airport, take a left on Cherry Valley RD, then take a right on Walford RD and the house is on the left.
