Dig out those Christmas lights and bring them out and decorate your campsite at Lake Iowa Park July 18-19 to celebrate Christmas in July.

On Friday night July 18, join us as we watch Snow Buddies on the big outdoor screen starting at 9:15 p.m. This movie program is free and everyone is welcome to attend. Please bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on(weather depending). Fresh popped popcorn and cold pop will be available for a free will donation.

On Saturday July 19, will be holding a two person double elimination dummy board tournament at the entrance to Lake Iowa Park. There is a $10 entry fee per team for this event, with cash winnings. Registration ia at 9:30 am - 10:00 a.m. with the tournament starting at 10:10 am. All boards and bags provided to play on and all ages are welcome to participate. Starting at 2 p.m.- 4 p.m. join in the fun and games portion of the day. Meet and dunk the Iowa County Conservation staff in the dunk tank. There will be a small fee for the dunk tank as a fundraiser. Enjoy playing some games like freeze it, hole in the bucket and water balloon relay, warning you may get wet during these events. Also we will be having a watermelon feed until it’s gone. Come to Tent A area at 8:30 p.m. and meet Santa and ride on the hayrack through the campground to view all the lights. All activities are open to the public. Directions to Lake Iowa Park is Exit 211 off of I-80 go South for 2 miles until stop sign, then go 1 mile west and 3 miles south. All roads are hard surface.
