RAP is also hosting an International AIDS Candlelight Memorial on Sunday, May 18 at CSPS, 1103 3rd Street SE, Cedar Rapids. For 25 years, the International Candlelight Memorial, a program of the Global Health Council, has brought people together in every region of the world to honor those lost to AIDS and demonstrate the importance of civil society, a movement in step with the spread of the disease itself. The free event begins with a reception, followed by a program and entertainment. Light refreshments will be served.
