Taking students to the presidential inauguration and conducting a school-wide mock election are just two examples of Sarah's hands-on teaching techniques. As a P.E. teacher she helps every student strive for excellence and develop character through the Hoover Star Program. As a teacher and FFA advisor, Tom uses community service projects and a school greenhouse to take students' learning beyond the classroom. While teaching strong fundamentals, Kim uses international experience to introduce her students to other cultures and engage their imaginations.
