Authorities Identify Iowa Woman Killed in Crash

SPENCER, Iowa (AP) Authorities have identified a woman killed in a two-vehicle crash in northwest Iowa as 18-year-old Elizabeth Kyte, of Spencer.
Police say Kyte died at the scene Friday night, and three other people were taken to a hospital with injuries. Spencer police say Kyte was attempting to make a turn around 5 p.m. when the car she was driving was struck by a semitrailer driven by 52-year-old Darrel Kramer, of Spencer.
Kyte was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers in her vehicle, 50-year-old Tamara Kyte and 22-month-old Seth Kyte were taken by ambulance to a Spencer hospital, and later flown to a Sioux Falls hospital. Seth Kyte was later released from the hospital.
Authorities say Kramer was taken by ambulance to the Spencer hospital, where he was treated and released.
