WORTH COUNTY, Iowa - Some Iowa rivers are getting a clean bill of health.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources reports that Silver Lake in Worth County as well as the Cedar, Iowa, Shell Rock, and Wapsipinicon rivers have been removed from the DNR's impaired waterway list.
In order to be removed from the list, waterways have to pass a federal test given by the Environmental Protection Agency. That test measures pollutants in the water.
