Car Crash Near Fairfax Kills One

FAIRFAX, Iowa- A single car crash near Fairfax late Saturday night has killed one person.

The accident happened on Linn-Benton Road about a half mile south of Southview Road. The driver of the car, a 50 year old woman, lost control of her car and overturned it in the ditch up against a power line pole.

She died as a result of the injuries she suffered in the accident.

Police are not releasing the driver's name and the exact cause of this accident is still under investigation.
