Neighborhood disturbance causes delay of Fulton Elementary School dismissal

Fulton Elementary School has been placed on an exterior lockdown by police due to a disturbance in the neighborhood near the school.

National mass shootings targeting schools means many children and parents are scared. On Tuesday, Wilson Middle School in Cedar Rapids went into a full lockdown as students huddled in corners and teachers blocked doors.

Lanes are back open, but traffic is moving slowly.

Scattered storms develop tonight as warm air begins to push into the state.
