UI student government and Iowa City team up for better off-campus street lighting

Students at the University of Iowa want better off-campus street lighting. They say this will help them feel safer walking around town after dark but the city of Iowa City says money limits how many street lights workers can improve at a given time.


The affected professions include respiratory therapists, massage therapists, barbers, funeral directors, even mental health counselors and social workers.
