Some NewBo businesses upset over flood plan

Some businesses at the NewBo District in Cedar Rapids feel like they are on the wrong side of the flood wall that the city has built. has started a live stream of a camera from its tower to watch the Cedar River rise.

From evacuation plans and shelters to road closures and sandbags, this is the main information for flood response.

Parlor City located in the New Bohemia district opened its doors Sunday to volunteers and offered them free beer.
